Councillors

The Cook Shire Council is made up of a Mayor and six Councillors with a democratic election held every four years. The latest Local Government election was held on March 19, 2016 by full postal ballot.

Mayor Peter Scott

Councillor Peter Scott has served with Cook Shire Council since 2004 as Councillor and 2008 as Mayor.

Deputy Mayor Robyn Holmes

Councillor Robyn Holmes is serving in her first term with Council, having been elected in 2016. She was elected as Deputy Mayor in July 2017.

Councillor Alan Wilson has served with Cook Shire Council since 2004 as Councillor, serving one term as Deputy Mayor from 2008 to 2012 and since the 2016 local government election until stepping down in June 2017.
