Calling all Cape York and Torres Strait Island artists! Applications are now open for you to have the opportunity to showcase your talents to a wide audience while developing your arts practice.

Cape York and Torres Strait Islands Regional Arts Showcase 2021

Cook Shire Council and Regional Arts Services Network Cape York and Torres Strait Islands Region would like to extend an invite to Cape York and Torres Strait Islands artists to apply for a place at the Cape York and Torres Strait Island Arts Showcase that is being held as part of the Cooktown and Cape York Expo 2021.

40 artists will be selected to be a part of the program that includes:

  • Skills and professional development workshops on arts businesses, pitching and skills development
  • Mentoring opportunities from key industry professionals across a variety of artist genres, mediums and performance types
  • Support and the opportunity to showcase your unique talents and culture during the Reconciliation Rocks Festival

Applications must close on 27 November 2020.
