PUBLIC NOTICE | LAKELAND WASTE TRANSFER STATION CHANGE IN OPERATING HOURS

Due to large-scale illegal commercial dumping at this site, please be informed that from Monday 30 May 2022, the Lakeland Waste Transfer station will no longer operate as a 24/7 unmanned facility. The new hours of operation will be as follows:
FROM MONDAY 30 MAY 2022
Monday to Saturday, 7-9 am
FROM FRIDAY 1 JULY 2022
Monday to Saturday, 7-9 am AND 2-4 pm
(Please note: This is a 3-month trial that will be run from 1 July until 30 September 2022)
Council's standard fees and charges will apply from 1 July 2022.
