HEALTHY DOGS | HEALTHY COMMUNITIES

In October, Council's Animal Management team visited Laura and Coen as part of Cook Shire's Healthy Dogs Program offering house-to-house visits and complimentary flea, tick, and worming treatment, and they're on their way back in December!

Thanks to the donation of Credelio anti-parasitic for dogs, made available by AMMRIC (Animal Management in Rural and Remote Indigenous Communities) supporters and Elanco Pet Health more than 130 animals received flea, tick and worm treatments. when the Healthy Dogs program's new vet, Justin from Central Vets in Mareeba (pictured above) last visited Laura and Coen.

The great news is that Justin and the team heading back this December. - just in time for Christmas and the wet season!
