Community Plan
About the Plan
The Cook Shire Community Plan was launched 17th January 2012. The plan outlines the 10 year vision for the shire and provides snapshots-in-time of our townships. The plan will inform the longer-term decisions of council in relation to policy, planning and resource allocation; and it will provide a means of informing other levels of government about our aspirations.
The Cook Shire Community Plan was over a year in the making and the engagement process has strengthened our networks and relationships across the Cook Shire community laying a firm base for future consultations; we now also have a comprehensive database of specific issues and concerns of the community.
