PROJECT NAME

JENSEN'S CROSSING BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT
LOCATION Jensen's Crossing and Poison Creek Road               
FUNDED BY Anticipated to cost $1,325,500, this project is jointly funded through the Federal Governments Bridge Renewal Program ($662,750) and the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads ($662,750). 
PROJECT OVERVIEW

Design and construction of a new bridge to replace the current Jensen's Cross Bridge

PROJECT PURPOSE Improve the safety, durability and accessibility of the bridge by removing the existing timber structure and replacing it with a concrete/timber structure to increase bridge capacity  
IMPACT OF WORKS Jensen's Crossing and a section of Poison Creek Road will be closed to the public (except for properties on those roads) with no access to the project site (Jensenss Crossing Bridge) for the duration of the works.
