Invitiation to Attend Public Presentation
A public presentation of slides from the Al Gore documentary ‘The Inconveniant Truth’ will be presented by Sue Hayes at Natures PowerHouse on 17th August 2007 at 5.30pm.
The slide presentation has been adapted for Australian audiences with additional Australian and localised information on climate science, impacts and solutions.
After the presentation there will be a panel of guest speakers to answer questions from the community to help start a discussion on ways to move forward on global cooling.
This is an opportunity for the Cooktown community to discuss the potential of climate change and how we can each be part of the solution.
