Musical Ship
Innovative instrument maker Steve Langton sails into Cooktown with a ship-shaped musical playground that will take pride of place in Endeavour Park for visitors and locals to play.
The Musical Ship will be fitted with marimba, vibraphone and other playable instruments for an interactive experience that will delight children and adults alike.
All will be revealed during a fun-filled late afternoon of musical entertainment for the whole family featuring composer Niko Schauble and local school children "playing" the Ship, followed by popular local band Black Image and Cairns group Zephyr Deluxe.
