Queensland State Ergon Tidy Town Awards 2007

Mark Pitt Chief Executive Officer of Cook Shire attended the Queensland State Ergon Tidy Towns Awards in Brisbane and accepted the Environmental Protection Award on behalf of the Cook Shire Council.
Council’s Diana Wood, Vegetation Supervisor with the Parks and Gardens Section, received the Individual outstanding Accomplishment Award.
Congratulations to the community, staff from Council’s Parks and Gardens and Environmental sections for the improvement of Council’s landfill sites, which assisted in securing the award.
