The Wayne Leonard Motorcycle Muster 2007 visited Cooktown on the 12th and 13th of May. The Muster raises money for Queensland children's hospitals. 180 riders and supporters spent the weekend in Cooktown enjoying themselves and raising money via a series of events. Thanks to the kind donation of food from the local IGA and Cooktown Quality Meats, members of the Martin Cricket Club and Shire staff were able to put on a breakfast in the Lions Park to send the riders on their way on Sunday morning with a full stomach. The local Lions Club provided a BBQ.
