Getting to Cooktown is half the fun as both the coastal and inland roads provide glimpses of an Australia most people have never imagined. We recommend coming on the Inland Road and returning on the Coastal Road for the full experience.
Inland Road - The Inland drive on the Peninsula Developmental Road provides and introduction to the Great Australian Outback and a way of life which has remained unchanged for decades. The road is now completely sealed.
