COOK SHIRE DRAFT 2023-24 BUDGET | COMMUNITY CONSULTATION

As members of the Cook Shire Community, your review, feedback and comments on the proposed budget are important to Council, and we ask you to consider the following questions:

Do you think the proposed budget has achieved a balance between the provision of essential services, delivery of community services, and maintenance of infrastructure and capital works?  

How do you think the budget could be improved to better meet the lifestyles and aspirations of ratepayers and residents across the Shire?

Hardcopies are also available at all Cook Shire Libraries, and at Council's Main Administration Building located at:
10 Furneaux Street, Cooktown. 

Once you've revised the documents, please provide your feedback by emailing mail@cook.qld.gov.au noting 'Budget Comments' in the subject line. You do not need to provide your name or additional contact details. 

You can also submit your feedback the following ways:

• By post to PO Box 3, Cooktown 4895, or
• In person to 10 Furneaux Street, Cooktown.

Please make sure that you leave enough time to ensure Council receives it prior to 10pm Sunday 11 2023.
