PUBLIC NOTICE | UPGRADE WORKS TO SHERRIN ESPLANADE
Please be advised of the upcoming works to upgrade Sherrin Esplanade from the Furneaux Street- Adelaide Street Intersection are scheduled to commence from Monday 9 May 2022.

Please be advised of the upcoming works to upgrade Sherrin Esplanade from Furneaux Street to the Adelaide Street Intersection are scheduled to commence from Monday 9 May 2022.
The works include a number of enhancements designed to improve access and safety, and provide additional parking, including:
- Installation of a shared path for pedestrians and cyclists
- Installation of fencing along the shared path
- Installation of street lights and protective barriers/bollards
- Installation of road signage and line markings
- Culverts and rock protection installation
- Subsoil drainages
- Kerb and channel, kerb pits, drainage pits and open table drain
- Road pavement and bitumen sealing

Impact to residents and business owners
During this time, Sherrin Esplanade will be closed between Furneaux Street and Adelaide Street. Vehicle assess will be restricted to essential business and emergency services and pedestrian pathway diversions will be in place.
