Ayton Boat Ramp Ugrade
After a lengthy process that saw Council and the community work together to advocate for an upgrade to the boat ramp at Ayton, the Queensland Government has announced it will be committing $1 million dollars to the project, with construction due to commence in 2023.

In a media release dated 10 January 2022, Member for Cook Cynthia Lui MP noted that the upgrade will see the existing boat ramp rebuilt and a new ponton installed beside the ramp on the downstream side.
