PUBLIC NOTICE | CHARLOTTE STREET & WEBBER ESPLANADE WATER MAIN WORKS
Please be advised of temporary changes in traffic conditions at the northern end of Charlotte Street and Webber Esplande (wharf area) as works commence to upgrade water services in the area.
25 April 2023 - 05:24AM
Upgrades works to the water systems are scheduled to commence from Monday 18 July 2022 in the area adjacent to the Seaview Motel (Please see the area of the proposed works below).
Impact to Residents/Business Owners
A traffic management plan including part and full road closures, and temporary changes to traffic conditions will be in place when required. This will likely cause traffic delays.
Pedestrians will still be able to access the area.
Access to the boat ramp will likely be impacted for a short period, with exact details of when this will be available closer to the date - we'll do our very best to avoid this from happening on a good fishing day. Please keep an eye on Council's social media channels for updates
Please be aware of road closures, detours, and workers in the area. Please also pay attention to any signage and drive to conditions.
Impacted residences and businesses will be duly informed.
Works are anticipated to be completed by the end of August 2022.
We thank you for your understanding as we work to maintain and upgrade services for our community.
If you have any questions, queries, or concerns, please contact Council on 4082 0500.
