PUBLIC NOTICE | COOKTOWN LINE MARKING WORKS, 19-22 JULY 2022

Please be advised that line marking works will be undertaken at the following sites in Cooktown between Tuesday 19 and Friday 22 July 2022:

Boundary Street, Garden Street and Power Street, Cooktown

   
  •  None anticipated
Wednesday
20 July 2022
Charlotte Street intersections (from Hogg Street to Walker Street)
  •  A traffic management plan and detours will be in place.
  • No parking along the street in these areas
Thursday
21-22 July 2022
Cooktown State School Carpark and May Street intersection
  • Temporary road closure will be in place on May Street. 
  • School car park and bus zone will be closed during works
  • Parents and guardians are requested to use Charles Street as an alternate drop-off/pick area.

Please be aware of workers in these areas, pay attention to any signage and drive to conditions.
