BANG YOUR DRUM WITH FREE WEST AFRICAN DRUMMING WORKSHOPS
Learn and experience the techniques, rhythm and stories behind West African drumming these school holidays, at a number of FREE workshops being held this December.

Enjoy some rhythm and culture and add a whole lot of BANG to these school holidays by joining Join Jeff Cotter from Drum and Dance Cairns as he shares his wisdom and knowledge and at ten free, West African drumming workshops being held across Lakeland, Cooktown and Rossville.
Fantastic fun for all-ages (although children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult) the workshops will introduce students to some of the techniques and beats that lie at the heart of West African drumming. Instruments will be supplied. Simply bring a bottle of water and a small hand towel and be prepared to work up a sweat!
Workshops are free to attend but places are strictly limited, so book your place early to avoid missing out.
