Disaster management

Queensland’s disaster management framework includes groups at the Local, District and State levels.  The Cook Shire Local Disaster Management Group (LDMG) is uniquely positioned to provide tailored disaster management for our community, leveraging members’ extensive knowledge of local social, environmental, and economic issues. The Cook Shire LDMG comprises key emergency and government service agencies, including Cook Shire Council, Queensland Police Service, Queensland Ambulance Service, Queensland Fire Department and State Emergency Services.
