DISCOVERY FESTIVAL ROAD CLOSURES | JUNE 2023

Please be advised that as part of the events, installations, and festivities for Discovery Festival 2023, temporary road closures will be in place at the below listed times and locations

SHERRIN ESPLANADE

Details: Between Bowls Club and the Captain Cook Statue for placement of the Stage at Lion's Park

Dates / Times: Thursday 15 June (6am) until Monday 19 June (7am)

CHARLOTTE STREET

Details: From the Top Pub to Sovereign Resort

Dates / Times: Saturday 17 June, between the hours of 6am - 5pm

GREEN STREET

Details: Part road closure between Charlotte Street and Hope Street for the Fun Run

Dates / Times: Saturday 17 June, between the hours of 6am - 10am (may re-open earlier)

GRASSY HILL

Details: Full road closure from the corner of Hope Street to the look out for the Fun Run (emergency vehicles only)

Dates / Times: Saturday 17 June, between the hours of 6am - 10am (may re-open earlier)

Residents will be duly informed. 

WALKER STREET

Location: Part road closure from Charlotte Street to Adelaide Street for the Fun Run and the Street Parade

Dates / Times: Saturday 17 June, between the hours of 6am - 12 noon

ADELAIDE STREET

Details: Full road closure from Walker Avenue to Sherrin Esplanade for the Fun Run

Dates / Times: Saturday 17 June, between the hours of 6am - 10am
