2023 Community Scorecard Results

During May 2023 we asked residents and ratepayers across the Shire for your thoughts on how Council is performing.

We did this via a survey used by many local governments across Australia, the MARKYT Community Scorecard.

The survey was open to all community members aged 14 years and older. Responses could be submitted in print or online from 24 April until 2 June 2023.

Hardcopies of the survey were delivered to residents via post office boxes, and Council offices and libraries had copies available for collection. Links to the online survey were shared and promoted via email and through Council’s social media channels.

415 responses were received. Read the full report.

These results played a pivotal role in unveiling the perspectives of local residents. Council analysed the data to formulate the action plan (below) that is carefully tailored to address the key priorities highlighted by the community.
