Pre cyclone kerbside waste pickup
Cook Shire Council's annual pre-storm season kerbside pick up in underway.

Cook Shire’s annual pre-storm season kerbside pick up of green waste and whitegoods within the townships of Cooktown, Bloomfield, Rossville, Marton and Lakeland will start on November 21. Waste must be sorted into separate piles, and put on the road verge or kerb no earlier than November 5, and no later than November 20.
Construction waste - will NOT be picked up, but up to 1 cubic metre, not including asbestos, may be dumped free at Cook Shire Waste Transfer Stations on Saturday and Sunday, November 26 and 27.
