Roadworks Notice: Peninsula Development Road (Hann River and Laura)
The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is about to carry out bridge inspections on Hann River Bridge and Little Laura River Bridge on the Peninsula Developmental Road, near Laura.
13 October 2020 - 04:11PM
Bridge inspections are regularly carried out to ensure the continued safety and reliability of bridges and culverts on the state-controlled road network.
The inspections will require 30-minute periods of intermittent full bridge closures throughout the day on the below dates:
- Monday 26 October 2020 - Hann River Bridge, north of Laura
- Tuesday 27 October 2020 - Little Laura Bridge, south of Laura
TMR has arrangements in place to provide emergency access if required.
For the safety of road users and maintenance crews, changed traffic conditions will be in place including temporary full closures under coordination of traffic controllers while the works are carried out. Road users should plan their travel accordingly.
More information about road conditions across Queensland’s state-controlled road network is available via the www.QLDTraffic.qld.gov.au website or 13 19 40 Information services.
