MULLIGAN HIGHWAY | TEMPORARY CLOSURES McLEOD RIVER BRIDGE

Please be advised that the Department of Transport and Main Roads is about to carry out bridge inspections on McLeod River bridge on the Mulligan Highway between Mt Molloy and Lakeland. Bridge inspections are regularly carried out to ensure the continued safety and reliability of bridges and culverts on the state-controlled road network.
The inspections will require intermittent full bridge closure on Wednesday 2 March 2022 between 8.00 am and 3.15 pm. The bridge will be closed for one-hour periods,15-minute openings during the following times:
Closed 8.00am-9.00am Open 9.00am-9.15am Closed 9.15am-10.15am Open 10.15am-10.30am Closed 10.30am-11.30am Open 11.30am-11.45am Closed 11.45am-12.45pm Open 12.45pm-1.00pm Closed 1.00pm-2.00pm Open 2.00pm-2.15pm Closed 2.15pm-3.15pm Open 3.15pm onwards |
Timeframes may be subject to change depending on the weather conditions.
For the safety of road users and maintenance crews, changed traffic conditions will be in place including temporary full closures under coordination of traffic controllers while the works are carried out. Road users should plan their travel accordingly.
