You're invited: Community Recovery Forums

Join us as we embark on a journey of resilience and renewal. Cook Shire Council invites you to be a part of our community's recovery process at our upcoming series of Community Forums.

These forums serve as crucial hubs for information sharing, collaboration, and empowerment as we transition from disaster response efforts to long-term recovery strategies in the aftermath of Tropical Cyclone Jasper and the ensuing floods.

Connect with fellow residents, contribute your insights towards building a stronger, more resilient Cook Shire and hear updates from Council and community service providers regarding key areas of recovery:

  • Human & Social Recovery
  • Economic Recovery
  • Environmental Recovery
  • Infrastructure, and
  • Building resilience for the future

No need to register or RSVP, simply show up on the day to have your questions answered and provide your feedback. Light refreshments will be provided.

We are stronger together, let's shape our path forward towards a resilient tomorrow.
