Cattle Creek Bridge - Reduced Speed

We have been advised that the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is about to change the speed limit on Cattle Creek Bridge, north of Laura on the Peninsula Developmental Road (Lakeland – Laura).

For the safety of road users, the speed on the bridge will be reduced to 60km/h.  Advisory signage will be put in place to warn road users about the changed traffic conditions.

All lanes, in all directions have been impacted by damage to the bridge barriers from flooding earlier this year. The reduced speed limit will remain in place until repairs have been completed.
