NAIDOC Week 2021 Community Barbeque - Heal Country!
Join us as we celebrate NAIDOC Week 2021 at the spectacular First People's Grove in the Cooktown Botanic Gardens.

You're invited to join us on Wednesday 7 July 2021 from 12 noon, as we celebrate the rich history, diverse cultures, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples from across Cape York at this free NAIDOC Week Community event.
Enjoy an afternoon in the recently completed, spectacular surrounds of the newly opened First People's Grove at the Cooktown Botanic Gardens that includes:
- Welcome to Country
- Keynote speakers
- Complimentary barbecue lunch and refreshments
- 'Heal Country' Yarning Circle
- Cultural performances
- Tours of First People's Grove
