PUBLIC NOTICE | GRASSY HILL LIGHTHOUSE ROAD CLOSURES
Please be advised that works will be commencing on the Grassy Hill Lighthouse from Monday 12 April 2021 with the road closed to all vehicles and pedestrians until 18 May 2021.
Please be advised that works will be commencing on the Grassy Hill Lighthouse from 12 April 2021.
Due to the extensive nature of these works, the circular road at the top of Grassy Hill surrounding the lighthouse and lookout will be closed to all vehicles and pedestrians from 12 April until 18 May 2021.
Works will include the removal of lead-based paint and repainting of the lighthouse, sandblasting the steel uprights, repairing the door, replacing rotting ceiling boards and tie-downs, recladding, strengthening the handrails, and resealing the windows.
