With the below works likely to continue into next week, please keep an eye out for crews working in the following areas, and as always, drive to conditions:

• Contractors in Ayton cleaning drains, patching roads, clearing Platypus Ck. Been rained out for rest of the week and will be back down next week
• Repairs to washed out pipe on Quarantine Bay Road
• Shiptons Flat: clearing trees off road and silt removal
• Repairing scours around Cooktown
• Repairing signs and sign posts in Cooktown
• Installing signs at stage 5 Charlotte Street (Cooktown Wharf area)
• Pot hole patching Bloomfield road
• Barretts Creek road repairs
• Repairs to Homerule Road
• Repairs to Oakey Creek Road
• Bridge Crew installing footpath on Furneaux Street
• Bridge Crew getting temporary bridge ready for instally at Platypus Creek
• DRFA assessments happening on roads we are able to travel on
