Are you ready to embrace the outdoors, meet new people, and enjoy the myriad health benefits of gentle exercise? Look no further than Silver Striders! Presented by Cook Shire Council and MoveIT NQ, this program invites you to embark on a seven-week journey starting Wednesday, 15 May 2024.
Join us every Wednesday at 9am by the wooden python sculpture, located next to the deck at Nature’s Powerhouse Cafe. Together, we'll explore the tranquil pathways of the Botanic Gardens, taking each step as an opportunity to strengthen our bodies and connect with fellow participants.
Whether you're a seasoned walker or just starting your fitness journey, Silver Striders encourages seniors to move at your own pace, gradually building stamina and strength with each outing.
So, lace up your walking shoes, breathe in the fresh air, and let the beauty of nature inspire you.
Join Silver Striders today, and experience the joy of outdoor activity, friendship, and improved health - one step at a time!
