Cook Shire Youth Council in partnership with Cooktown PCYC are proud to present, Cook Shire's Got Talent - and electrifying platform for young people aged 7 - 25 years of age to showcase their talents, and captivate audiences as they take to the stage.
From signing and dancing, to dramatic performances, music, feats of magic, stand up comedy and all manner of variety acts, registrations are open to any solo or group of youth performers, across two different age categories (either 7-18 years or 19-25 years), currently living in Cook Shire.
Each performer must register by submitting the registration form, agreeing to the terms and conditions.
Acts must be PG-rated and every performer must obtain parent or guardian consent.
Performers will be responsible for providing their own equipment, music and costumes, and will be required to attend rehersals as required, prior to the main competition/event that will take place at Cooktown PCYC Events Centre on Thursday 13 June 2024.
Registrations are open now and must close at 5pm on Wednesday, 22 May 2024.
Registration forms can be downloaded here, then completed and submitted in person to Cook Shire Council's Main Administration Building at 10 Furneaux Street in Cooktown, or emailed to mail@cook.qld.gov.au
