Building certifier bookings
Cook Shire Council does not currently have a full time Building Certifier available to undertake building inspections at short notice. Builders and/or property owners will be required to give at least 48 hours notice to the Council when booking an inspection.

Please note that there is no guarantee that an inspection will take place within the 48 hour timeframe due to the availability of the contract Building Certifier, however, a date and time will be negotiated with the Planning and Development Team when an inspection is booked.
This process will continue until further notice and you will be advised of any changes. We thank you for your patience.
