NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN
Express your appreciation for a worthy individual or group that has made a real contribution to the region by nominating them for an Australia Day Award!

First introduced in 1991, the Cook Shire Council Australia Day Awards are endorsed by Federal and State Governments in line with the National Australia Day Awards and recognise outstanding achievement within our community.
Individuals and groups from within our community who have made a noteworthy contribution during the year, and/or have contributed outstanding service to the community over a number of years are eligible.
Award recipients will be presented with a certificate and a trophy by Cook Shire Mayor Peter Scott at Council official Austalia Day event that will be held in January 2023.
Nominees should be residents of Cook Shire who, through their personal efforts, have made a significant contribution to their community. Categories allow for nominations of persons of any age.
