Cook Shire Mayor Robyn Holmes has shared an important update on the much-anticipated 110-metre boardwalk at the Racecourse end of the trail.
Building approval has now been awarded, and suppliers will be on-site this week for a pre-start meeting. If all goes to plan, we’re hoping for completion by the end of this financial year!
In parallel, Council is working with the State Government to secure environmental approvals for the rest of the walking trail. While we’re aiming for a timely finish, the timeline may shift due to weather or other factors.
