COOKTOWN SWIMMING POOL
The only public pool in the Shire and is open seven days a week.
This vibrant facility is a hub for various activities throughout the year, catering to visitors, community groups, families, clubs, and schools.
The Cooktown Swimming Pool, located at 10 Charles Street next to Cooktown State School, is popular among visitors and locals alike. Our community pool is home to the Cooktown Amateur Swimming Club and the Cooktown Underwater Hockey Teams. We also run a number of swimming programs and activities to help the local community learn to swim, keep fit and keep cool.
