FNQROC DEVELOPMENT MANUAL

Promoting consistent development across Far North Queensland.

The Far North Queensland Regional Organisation of Councils (FNQROC) recognises the need for structured and practical manuals to set minimum standards and ensure consistency in development across Far North Queensland. As such, they’ve created a manual to establish minimum standards and promote development consistency throughout the Far North Queensland region.

The FNQ ROC Development Manual aims to:

  • Guide developers, consultants, contractors, and council officers through the approval process, from project inception to completion.
  • Establish consistent development requirements across participating councils in the region.
Recent Amendments

FNQROC has recently updated the Regional Development Manual to maintain its functionality and relevance. These amendments ensure a consistent set of standards.

Cook Shire Council has adopted Version 8 of the Regional Development Manual, effective from 10 November 2020.
