Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF)
In partnership with the Queensland Government, RADF empowers arts, culture, and heritage as vital elements of inclusive, diverse communities and robust regions.
Our RADF Committee collaborates with Arts Queensland to invest in local cultural priorities, fostering:
- Community Value: Arts and cultural activities benefiting Queensland communities.
- Cultural Innovation: Building local capacity, innovation, and community pride.
- Government Objectives: Achieving Queensland Government’s community-focused objectives.
The Cook Shire Arts and Culture Strategy consulted with communities across the region to identify the local priorities for the region. These include:
- Reef Awareness and Recycling
- Children and Youth
- Events Celebrating our Community Values
- Professional Development
- Governance skills, project planning and management
