We have been advised that the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) will be carrying out bridge inspections and servicing at the following locations:
- Hann River bridge, Peninsula Developmental Road: Tuesday 22 July to Wednesday 23 July 2025
- Wallaby Creek bridge, Shiptons Flat Road: Thursday 24 July to Friday 25 July 2025
This is part of TMR’s regular bridge maintenance program to ensure the continued safety and reliability of bridges on the state-controlled road network.
The works will require intermittent full closures of the bridge and are scheduled to be closed at the following times, weather and construction conditions permitting:

| Closed | 1:00pm – 2:00pm |
| Open | 2:00pm – 2:15pm |
| Closed | 2:15pm – 3:00pm |
| Open | 3:00pm – 3:15pm |
| Closed | 3:15pm – 4:15pm |
| Open | 4:15pm – 4:30pm |
| Closed | 4:30pm – 5:00pm |
| Open | 5:00pm |
Work crews will ensure emergency service vehicles are provided with access if required.
Variable Message Signs (VMS) will be in place prior to the closure to allow motorists ample opportunity to plan their travel. Changes in dates due to poor weather will be posted on the VMS.
