Local businesses, community groups, organisations, and individuals across Cook Shire are encouraged to apply for funding through Round 1 of Cook Shire Council’s 2025 Community and Economic Development Grants Program,
With up to $6,000 available for each successful project, these grants provide financial support for projects, activities, and events that contribute to the vibrancy, resilience, and sustainability of Cook Shire. Funding can assist initiatives that:
- Strengthen local businesses and economic development
- Create inclusive and engaging community events
- Encourage tourism and cultural activities
- Enhance community facilities and services
- Support projects that benefit residents and visitors alike
The program is designed to back ideas that bring people together, showcase the unique character of Cook Shire, and deliver lasting benefits for the community.
