Nature’s Powerhouse will mark a major milestone this November, celebrating 25 years as one of Cooktown’s most beloved cultural landmarks.
Since opening its doors in 2000, Nature’s Powerhouse has become a hub for art, heritage and connection—welcoming locals and visitors alike to explore the region’s natural beauty through exhibitions, events and storytelling.
The 25-year anniversary celebration will be held on Saturday 30 November from 3:00 to 6:30 pm, featuring live performances by Loni Fitzpatrick and Stu Harcourt, inspiring guest speakers, exquisite catering and a cash bar. Guests can also enjoy the Vera Scarth-Johnson Art Exhibition and a special historical display highlighting the venue’s journey over the past quarter century.
The event promises an afternoon of reflection and celebration, bringing together community members, artists and supporters who have been part of Nature’s Powerhouse’s story.
Guests are encouraged to dress in cocktail attire and join in raising a glass to 25 years of creativity, culture and connection.
