Special Meeting of Council
Under section 254C of the Local Government Regulation 2012, the community is being advised of a Special Meeting of Council to be held at 9:00 am on Monday 25 August at Council’s Main Administration Building located at 10 Furneaux Street, Cooktown.
Business to be conducted will be:
- Community and Commercial Tenure Arrangements
- Native Title Determination Applications – s87A Agreements
- CEO’s 2024/25 Performance Review and 2025/26 Key Performance Indicators
Please note that the discussion for items 2 and 3 will be held during closed session. The report being presented at this Special Council Meeting is considered to be confidential under Section 254J of the Local Government Regulation 2012, as it deals with a matter Cook Shire Council is required to keep confidential under a law of, or formal arrangement with, the Commonwealth or a State.
