Special Meeting of Council

Under section 254C of the Local Government Regulation 2012, the community is being advised of a Special Meeting of Council to be held at 3:30 am on Tuesday 9 September at Council’s Main Administration Building located at 10 Furneaux Street, Cooktown.

Business to be conducted will be:

1. Application for a Development Permit DA/4896 Material Change of Use for a Tourist Park (up to 74 people) – Lot 231 on BK15737 – 233 Barretts Creek Road, Hope Vale (Cook Shire) 4895
2. RFQ Q00925 – Detailed Design (Housing Development Infrastructure – Lakeland)
3. North Queensland Sports Foundation SportStar Awards – Endorsement of Nominations
4. Chief Executive Officer – Key Performance Indicators 2025/26 – CLOSED SESSION

Please note that the discussion for item 4 will be held during closed session. The report being presented at this Special Council Meeting is considered to be confidential under Section 254J(a) of the Local Government Regulation 2012.
