SENIOR ACCOMMODATION

At Cook Shire Council, we have a commitment to prioritising the well-being of our older community members in remote areas.

One of the ways we achieve this is by providing equitable access to aged care housing while maintaining legislative compliance.

As part of this commitment, we provide and manage 12 low-cost, long-term rental units designed for independent living, offering safety, security, and affordability. These units, comprising one-bedroom duplexes with a communal garden, to cater to some of the most vulnerable individuals in our community.
