Cr Justin Coventry is a lifelong resident of Cooktown and the Cape, embodying a deep connection to the land and its people. From Coen to Weipa and back to Cooktown, Justin has traversed the region, indulging in his passion for fishing and exploration with his family.

 Married to Tash Coventry with four children, Justin is an avid outdoorsman who frequently embarks on camping adventures and ventures to the Great Barrier Reef off Cooktown’s coast. As the operator of Cooktown Tours, he takes pride in showcasing the natural wonders of his hometown to visiting tourists, alongside crafting barramundi lures in his spare time.

 Beyond his entrepreneurial pursuits, Justin is actively involved in community initiatives, serving as president of the Endeavour Lions Club and contributing to youth development programs and community events. His unwavering commitment to Cooktown and its residents fuels his dedication to fostering positive change as a councillor.
