Cooktown Youth Disco – Funky Flora and Fauna

Young people across Cooktown and Cook Shire are invited to enjoy a fun-filled night of music, dancing and entertainment at the Cooktown Youth Disco on Friday 22 May 2026.

Running from 6:00PM to 8:30PM, the free youth event will feature dance, music, free dinner, games and prizes in a safe, inclusive and family-friendly environment.

The theme “Funky flora and fauna,” encourages attendees to dress up in their best floral-inspired outfits for a colourful evening of entertainment and creativity.

The Cooktown Youth Disco is open to young people up to 17 years old, with children under 12 required to be supervised by an adult.

This event is funded by the Queensland Government Youth Development Partnership Fund
