Far North Queensland Regional Organisation of Councils (FNQROC), on behalf of its member Councils, is inviting submissions from companies wishing to tender for the removal and beneficial reuse of biosolids from the principal councils' wastewater treatment plants. T0416 - Cleaning of Council Buildings and Amenities.

A site inspection must be completed prior to submitting tender.  Please contact Council's Records Administration Officer to schedule a time.

Tender opens September 8, 2016 and closes 2pm September 29, 2016. All Tenders are to be clearly marked “T0416 - Cleaning of Council Buildings and Amenities” and must be placed in the Tender Box at Council’s Administration Building or emailed to tenders@cook.qld.gov.au prior to this time. Late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders sent via post must have an Australia Post stamp dated at least 3 days prior to closure of Tender. Council’s General Conditions of Contract are non-negotiable and additional terms and conditions supplied by a Tenderer may render that Tender non-conforming.

E0416 - Expression of Interest - Operation of Visitor Information Centre (VIC)

Expressions of Interest addressing the prescribed service levels will open Thursday 22nd September 2016 and close at 2.00pm, Thursday 13 October 2016.  All submissions are to be clearly marked “E0416 – Operation of Visitor Information Centre” and must be placed in the Tender Box at Council’s Administration Building or emailed to tenders@cook.qld.gov.au prior to this time. Late submissions will not be accepted.  Submission sent via post must have an Australia Post stamp dated at least 3 days prior to closure of EOI. Assessment of submissions will be undertaken by Council with advice from the Cooktown Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Inc. The successful organisation will be advised no later than 30 October 2016.

General Information Relevant to Submitting and Offer to Council

Offers must be in the Tender Box at the Cook Shire Council Administration Building, 10 Furneaux Street (Cooktown), by the Closing Time.

Offers must be MAILED in time to ensure they are received PRIOR to the closing time.

Each Offer must be submitted in Hard Copy: executed, typed, single sided and in a sealed envelope, addressed to: "Chief Executive Officer, PO Box 3, Cooktown  QLD  4985", and clearly marked with the number and title of the Offer as shown on the front cover of the Conditions of Offer. A digital copy must be supplied to Council after the closing date in Word format.

Offers sent via mail will remain unopened (where clearly marked with the number and title of the Offer) and will be deposited in the Tender Box.

Tenderers MUST ensure they select a method of delivery that allows for receipt of Offer by the closing time. It is not sufficient that the Tender be posted by the closing time.

Late Offers may be deemed non-conforming.  

The Principal reserves the right to submit an in-house Tender.

No verbal advice is to be provided in addition to this Document. Any changes to the Offer Documents will be issued in writing as an Addendum. Offers submitted based on verbal advice may be deemed non-conforming.

Disclosure

  • Tenders will be subject to the Queensland Right to Information Act 2009 and Information Privacy Act 2009
  • All information submitted in a Tender, inclusive of pricing, may be publicised through the minuting of meetings hosted by the Council.   Where a Tender does not go to Council that same information may be released at the discretion  of the Council.
  • In compliance with legislative requirements, Council is required to publish details of all contracts over $200,000 on its Website and in the Customer Service Area.
