The Annan Water Treatment Plant is currently undergoing repairs, which limits our ability to operate at full capacity. To ensure adequate water supply for all residents, we kindly ask everyone connected to the town water supply to adhere to Level Two water restrictions during this period.

What Do Level Two Restrictions Mean?

• Sprinklers are permitted between 6 AM – 8 AM and 6 PM – 8 PM.
• Automatic sprinkler systems may operate only from 10 PM – 5 AM.
• Vehicle washing is discouraged.
• Hosing paved areas is not permitted.
• Swimming pools can only be topped up during sprinkler hours.

Council Service Changes

Please note that Council will implement reduced watering hours during this period. The Cooktown Swimming Pool and Cooktown Water Park will remain open.
