Lions and Endeavour Park are enhanced for community markets and events.

Council is excited to announce that Lions and Endeavour Park is undergoing exciting transformations with a significant upgrade to its power supply. This upgrade is designed to better support our markets, bustling roadside vendors, and a variety of community events, making our beloved park an even more inviting destination for everyone.

This upgrade includes the installation of five new vendor poles along Sherrin Esplanade and one on Charlotte Street, ensuring reliable access to power for all participants. These improvements not only aim to streamline operations for vendors but also enhance the overall experience for visitors.

Launch Date: Monday 4 November

As part of this initiative, a special rate will apply to these roadside vendor poles, in accordance with the Council Fees and Charges schedule. Please note that moving forward, Council will not provide additional power for mobile vendors unless it’s for a specific event.

Please be aware that from Monday 4 November, parking located in front of the new power outlets 1-5 along ‘Sherrin Esplanade, is reserved for our permitted roadside vendors ONLY. Parking compliance in this area will be enforced according to the Cook Shire Local Laws.
