This Movember, William Daku Park is sporting a very special feature—a giant mo! That’s right, our larger-than-life moustache is now the star attraction at the park, and it’s here to raise awareness for men’s health.
It took a little longer than expected for our giant mo to “grow” into all its glory—but hey, good things take time! The important message it carries couldn’t be timelier. Men’s health often doesn’t get the attention it deserves, with many men hesitant to seek help or talk about their struggles. Movember is all about starting important conversations about men’s health, including mental health, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.
Council is encouraging everyone to get involved by snapping a photo with our giant mo and sharing it on social media using the hashtags #Movember and #MoMomentwithCookShire. Tag us in your posts to spread the word, have a laugh, and support a great cause!
