Endeavour Park has recently undergone a series of improvements designed to enhance the community’s experience and elevate the park’s overall appeal.
Work commenced at the beginning of this week on the installation of decorative lighting around the park. This project includes three vandal-proof lights placed at the base of the magnificent melaleuca tree to illuminate its trunk and canopy. These lights will create a visually appealing and well-lit space, enhancing both the safety and aesthetic of the park and making it a welcoming destination for evening visits.
In addition, the installation of a new fountain in the town well area of Endeavour Park was completed Wednesday 11 December. This upgrade now features a luminous light display, making it an attractive focal point for locals and visitors to enjoy with family and friends.
These enhancements are part of Council’s ongoing efforts to make Endeavour Park a safer, more enjoyable and welcoming place for everyone, with well-lit areas designed to discourage crime and improve overall security.
Both of these projects are part of Council’s 2024 – 25 Operational Plan, which can be viewed here
