Cook Shire Council is pleased to announce the continuation of maintenance works on Bloomfield Road to enhance road safety and accessibility.
Upcoming works:
- Start date: Monday 13 January 2025
Scope of works:
- Aurovale Area: Approximately 1 km of patching near Aurovale
- Ayton Township: Completion of remaining sections, totalling around 400 meters.
- Cooktown: Subsequent patching on multiple streets
- Wayhlla Flat: Approximately 700 m road repair works
- Bloodwood Road to the caravan park: multiple repars to approximately 1.6 km of road
Traffic Management:
Traffic control measures will be in place during these works. Motorists may experience minor delays and are advised to plan their travel accordingly. Please adhere to all signage and instructions from traffic controllers to ensure safety.
